“Such attention to detail, so many special treats - it was amazing and my best story is when I returned from a game drive and suggested that we wanted to have a drink at the lodge; our butler overheard me and suggested that we go and freshen up first. I thought maybe I needed it (ha ha), but it was a surprise ... when we entered our room our bath was full of bubbles, the fire was burning and, of course, we forgot about drinks ... it was magic.”
Game drives through the Ngorongoro Crater begin early in the morning in closed safari vehicles with pop – up roofs. Accompanied by an expert ranger, a magnificent experience is sure to be had! The descent into the crater is one of scenic beauty, as you make your way through lush forests, home to numerous elephants and buffalo.

Located on the southern edge of the Crater, Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, Tanzania operates scheduled flights from Arusha Airport to Manyara Airstrip twice daily. You are then chauffer driven to and from the airstrip, enjoying 2 hours of scenic views and wildlife sightings en route.

Although it is possible to view lion on the crater floor, it is not possible to see bull buffalo grazing close to the lion The bull was very relaxed and close to two big male lions. This amazing sighting happened yesterday during our normal game...

We were in the reception area when one of the Askari came in and said that he saw a leopard making its way towards us near the Green hurt house. I asked him to walk back again and see if we could see it. We saw it trying to hide from us.
